Plot Summary:
Based on the true story of the 1994 Rwandan genocide, a
resourceful Hutu hotel manager transforms his luxurious Kigali
establishment into a safe haven for over a thousand persecuted
refugees. As escalating violence engulfs the nation and
international forces largely abandon them, he uses his wit,
political connections, and bribes to protect those in his care.
Ultimately, his relentless wheeling and dealing allow the
refugees to survive the bloodshed and escape to safety.
